There will be optional workouts for our boys' basketball teams tomorrow, Saturday, September 28 at the RCS gym.
High school workouts are from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Middle school workouts are from 12 to 2 p.m.
All athletes must have an updated physical on Dragonfly to participate in workouts.
Our 2026 European trip will be to The French Rivera!

There is an informational meeting about the trip happening on Thursday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the MPR!

Tonight's Varsity Volleyball game at RCS has been canceled.
The weather may have spoiled our Bulldog Care Day plans yesterday, but it didn't stop this group of staff and students from completing a project today! After school today they visited Maple Heights Rest Home and created a nice fall display at the entrance for the residents and their visitors to enjoy!
A special thank you to State Construction, who donated the hay bales that really brought the display together! #BulldogProud
With the threat of severe and unpredictable weather, tomorrow, September 27, will be a remote learning day. We will continue to monitor the weather and any power outages, and keep you updated if anything changes. Please stay safe.

Educational Highlight!
RCS introduced an Occupational Course of Study (OCS) this year. A couple of weeks ago Mrs. Wendy Yarboro and her 3 freshmen conducted an experiment on acid rain in class. It was based on the premise of acid rain being known to destroy paintings, monuments, and buildings. In the experiment, they used carbonated soda to serve as the acid rain and chalk as the limestone, which is used in buildings and statues. After the experiment, the students answered questions about the experiment. They had a great time!

With all the rain this week, the MS girls' soccer workout will now be in the RCS gym on Friday, Sept. 20 from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. Girls will need to bring shin guards and tennis shoes. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Puryear at robpuryear@yahoo.com.
Tomorrow's (Wednesday, 9/18) Middle School and High School Soccer games have been canceled. They will be played at a later date.
