Mrs. Clayton’s Biotechnology Health Science I students recently learned about instrumentation and techniques required for employment in a biotechnology laboratory. They demonstrated the use of the micropipette and both volumetric and disposable pipettes. 


Biotechnology Health Science II students recently learned about the Lymphatic system and simulated an antibody titer to determine immunity. 


Mrs. Bailey’s Biology students participate in a Microlab protocol where they share their ideas concerning the impact of genes and the environment on disease.


6th graders in Mrs. Carter’s Social Studies class create “Instastories” to show their understanding of the main ideas and differences between Buddhism and Hinduism. 


Spanish I students in Mr. Storrs’s class learn about the different states in Spain.


Mrs. Porter’s 7th grade Science students question each other to determine who in the class has specific genetic traits. 


English I students in Mrs. Bowen’s class discuss the setting of “The Most Dangerous Game” in small groups.


Ms. McCormick’s Chemistry students work together to solve puzzles testing their knowledge of how to find the molar mass of molecular compounds.


8th grade English students write an argumentative essay in Mrs. Morrow’s class.


World History students in Ms. Watts’s class learn more about child labor during the Industrial Revolution.


Students in Mrs. Clayton’s 6th grade Math class learn to graph shapes on the coordinate plane.
